What you see on the right is a china rotary buffer "Bohai" I got to kick start my detailing hobby about 2 years ago. It is very cheap (~USD50) and it does its work. I can't vouch for it's durability but it is still working:)
Mind you, the sound it makes is much louder than name brand peers. So if you can live with the sound and don't want to invest too much, they make great alternatives.
